Round Window Illusion

Location:  Studio of Patrick Kirwin, 3211 Colvin St, Alexandria, VA 22314

Instructor: Patrick Kirwin , master trompe l'oeil artist Fee (includes materials, see below) $150, Members $170, non-members Max # of students = 14

Class project

Class Description

The round window illusion will be painted with acrylics with Golden Artist Colors on 36"x36' uncoated, frosted mylar.  The project will be completed in class.

Students will learn 1-point perspective, wood graining, sky technique, landscape or plant elements, and cast shadow.

Students can choose to paint either leaves or landscape elements within their window. 

Materials will be provided by the instructor (see below).  Students should bring their own snacks and lunch.  A refrigerator and microwave are available for students.
