Class Description
Carolynn will teach her unique, neck-friendly techniques of how to create beautiful faux tiled
ceilngs--adapting a design, designing a layout, transferring it to
the ceiling, creating the tiles, and final installation.
She will also show and discuss variations using different mediums and
show how you can think
out of the box--walls, windows, doors, tables,
ceiling medallions, ornamental pediments, and more.
Students will create a 10"x10" faux tile of an original design
architectural ornament on Roc-Lon cloth. A 2-overlay stencil will be used as a
template with hand
painting added.
Your portfolio-quality sample can be used as a spring board to your own projects
