Originally from Washington, D.C., and Cheverly, MD, Carolynn is a fine artist who began her career as a fashion illustrator.  She soon specialized in large watercolors giving her first one-woman show at the Capricorn Gallery in Bethesda, MD, in 1989.

In 1991 Carolynn was asked to illustrate two children's books:  Mother Goose and Peter Pan, the latter of which was a series of five pop-up books.  The books were widely sold in the U.S., U.K., and Japan.

A second one-woman show soon followed at the Muse Gallery, Baltimore, MD, in 1992.

Carolynn currently specializes in painting with acrylics.

Occasionally, Carolynn will work with interior designers or on private commisions to create unique surface decorations, including faux tiled ceilings, murals, trompe l'oeil architectural ornaments, panels, and more.

Carolynn's work is currently on exhibit at the Renaissance Fine Arts Galleries in Pikesville and Bethesda, MD, and at the Merritt Young Art Gallery, Ardmore, PA.
